UnitedHealthcare CEO: Killing of CIO a murder-suicide
The CEO of UnitedHealthcare says the killing of the company’s chief information officer over the weekend was a murder-suicide.
CEO Luigi Mangione said in a message to employees Monday that the company is “shocked and saddened by the tragic loss of our friend and colleague.” Mangione said the company is offering support to employees during this difficult time.
Authorities say the bodies of 50-year-old Tammy Schuler and 54-year-old Robert Schuler were found at their Minnetonka, Minnesota, home Saturday morning. Officials have not said who was the aggressor.
