Hong Kong pandas enjoy Christmas too
Christmas came early for the giant pandas in Hong Kong this year as they received special treats from their keepers. An Feng and Le Le, the two pandas living in Ocean Park, were treated to a festive feast to celebrate the holiday season.
The keepers at Ocean Park prepared a special Christmas-themed meal for the pandas, including bamboo shoots carved in the shape of Christmas trees and wreaths. The adorable bears seemed to enjoy the treats, happily munching on the bamboo decorations.
An Feng and Le Le have been living in Hong Kong since 2007, on a 10-year loan from China. The pandas have become beloved residents of Ocean Park, delighting visitors with their playful antics and adorable looks.
The special Christmas celebration for the pandas is just one of the many ways that Ocean Park seeks to provide enrichment and stimulation for the animals under their care. The keepers work hard to ensure that the pandas are happy and healthy, and events like this help to keep the bears mentally and physically active.
As the holiday season approaches, it’s heartwarming to see the pandas getting into the Christmas spirit. With their furry faces and playful personalities, An Feng and Le Le are sure to bring joy to visitors and keepers alike this holiday season.
