Miami Dolphins rookie Grant Dubose is out indefinitely with a foot injury. The 6-foot-4, 296-pound defensive tackle was hurt in practice Monday. Coach Brian Flores said Dubose was undergoing further medical evaluation.

Dubose, an undrafted free agent from Louisville, was signed May 13. He played 35 games with 17 starts over three seasons for the Cardinals.

“I feel bad,” Flores said. “He was out there competing, trying to earn a spot on this team like everyone else.”

The Dolphins added rookie defensive tackle Jerome Johnson from Indiana to make up for the loss of Dubose.
